Last month we were honored to be invited to lead workshops at the Metropolitan Cooking and Entertaining Shows in both Dallas and Houston. The shows featured celebrity chefs Paula Deen, Bobby Flay and Giada De Laurentiis. We actually saw all three of them up close in person – which was quite an added treat!
Our workshops were “Every Day Inspiration for Table Design” and “Recipes for Fabulous Florals.” For both shows, we loaded the car with buckets of colorful flowers and dishware of all shapes and sizes. Below is just a teaser/behind the scenes of our workshops, but tomorrow we will reveal the inspiration concepts for the table design class.
Each show featured tens of dozens of vendors from various specialties within the food and entertaining industries. Bakers, BBQers, Chefs and other culinary artists lined the aisles, sharing their talents with the thousands of attendees eager to learn about the latest and greatest in cuisine.
