Our Mayhar week has been filled with all things floral, in anticipation of today’s artist! She is a visual stylist of beautifully balanced events and spaces. She is a choreographer of thoughtfully selected colors, textures, and perfectly coordinated decorative touches. And, she is the unbelievably gifted designer behind some of the most breathtaking floral art pieces I have ever seen.
I was so thrilled when I stumbled upon the work of McKenzie Powell, through a recent post on The Wedding Chicks. I am always looking for new artists to feature, and I immediately emailed my sister to show her McKenzie’s work. I think what I love so much about her designs is that they are organic, feminine, wild and delicate…all at the same time. She manages to beautifully capture the rawness of nature and the refined elegance of perfectly groomed petals in each of her thoughtful creations. I love love love her design aesthetic, and I love that each example of her work embodies the style and beauty that seems to be her signature.
