This has been a really heartbreaking week for the wedding industry. Last week a few colleagues posted about a dear friend, father, husband, and photographer who had gone missing. Search parties quickly formed, and the amount of love, support, and prayer that would quickly rise to the occasion was tremendous.
I did not know Eric Langlois of RAW Photo Design, but stories from his friends, images of him working, and his edgy and extensive photography portfolio speak wonders of him. I’ve learned he was an amazing father, a committed husband, a friend of the truest and kindest form, and he had one heck of a gift for photography.
Melanie and I felt compelled to share with you his talents today in honor of his life. We also wanted to share with you the fundraising page to help his family – Eric was the sole provider for his wife and two kids. His wife is expecting their third child this Christmas.
Although I did not know Eric, his story touches my life. It touches all of our lives, reminding us of how special each and every day is and how important it is to live every day to its fullest. I encourage you to offer your prayers to Eric’s wife Amber. I cannot imagine the depth of heartbreak, but I believe in God’s ability to strengthen those in their darkest hour.
Deuteronomy 31:6 “Be strong and courageous. Do not fear or be in dread of them, for it is the Lord your God who goes with you. He will not leave you or forsake you.”
