To friends, teachers and those at school, she is Lexie, but to her family, our sweetest and sassiest little niece goes by no other name than Lu. For those of you that are familiar with Mayhar, you may know her as the tiny little blondie who has been gracing the pages of our website for years.
A week and a half ago, Lu turned 6 and I promised her that I would help her to make her own custom invitations and treats! Naturally, I assumed that we would be crafting with cotton candy pink accents and glitter galore. I couldn’t wait!
To my surprise, she quickly informed me that “pink was out” and her design wishes were crisp and to the point: ”turquoise, yellow, hearts, and peace signs…oh, and watermelon accents.”
Hmm…ok.
