The truth is…we have featured her before,and I am sure we will again. We simply adore Michelle Hodges of Sprout. Her work is charming and quaint and whimsical and so thoughtfully arranged. Her eye for color, texture and composition is stellar. And, she is one of the gentlest, kindest and most wonderful vendors we have ever had the pleasure of working with.
I first met Michelle when I was planning my own wedding. Upon meeting her, I knew immediately that I wanted her to create the florals, and I was simply blown away with her work. In fact, my very first tears of the day came when her wonderful team arrived with boxes of overflowing petals. I’m not sure what it is about flowers, but they manage to bring everything together by adding the softest and most elegant finishing touches to each table, centerpiece and vase they fill.
I most recently had the joy of working with Michelle on a photo shoot that we coordinated in Fredericksburg. She not only hand delivered the most lush and beautiful garden arrangements for us, but she was the first to arrive on site and the last to leave, insisting that we use her however needed to make the day as perfect as possible. We treasure Michelle as a colleague and friend and one of the most gifted floral designers we know.
